We take privacy seriously — especially on hard days. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and how we protect it.

What we collect
When you visit the site (automatically):
- IP address and general location (country or state)
- Browser type and version
- Pages viewed and time on site (via analytics tools)
When you place an order (you give us):
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your shipping address
- The deceased person's full name, birth date, and death date
- Your uploaded photo
- Your prayer or poem selection and custom card text
- Payment details — processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Fulfill your order — print your cards and ship them
- Send order and shipping confirmations
- Respond to questions or service requests
- Improve the site and measure advertising performance
We do not sell your personal information or email you promotions without your consent. Ad platforms may receive standard pixel events (such as page views and purchases) to measure campaigns.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary to complete your order:
- Stripe — to process your payment. Stripe handles card data directly; we never have access to it.
- Our print partner — to produce and fulfill your cards.
- Your shipping carrier — to deliver your package.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your information with advertising networks, marketing platforms, or any third party not listed above.
The person being remembered
When you create a card, you give us a person's name, dates, and photo. We treat this with care.
- Used only to produce your card — for no other purpose
- Retained for up to 90 days after fulfillment in case you need a reprint, then permanently deleted
- Shared only with our print partner, who needs it to produce your order
- Never used for marketing, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to your order
Your uploaded photo
Uploaded photos are stored in encrypted cloud storage behind signed URLs — they are not publicly accessible. No one can reach your photo without a time-limited, signed link.
We retain your photo for 90 days after your order ships, then delete it permanently — unless you have specifically asked us to keep it for reprint purposes. Your photo is never used for marketing, AI training, or any purpose other than printing your card.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to make the site work — keeping items in your cart and maintaining your session. We also use analytics and advertising pixels (including Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta Pixel) to understand site usage and measure ad performance. You can block these via your browser or device settings.
Data retention
We keep your order and contact information as long as necessary for legal and business purposes — typically seven years for financial records. Photos and deceased person details are deleted 90 days post-fulfillment unless you opt in to retain them for reprints.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information, subject to any legal retention requirements
- Withdraw consent at any time for any consent-based processing

Children
Our service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes here and update the “Last updated” date at the top. If changes are material, we will notify registered customers by email.
